ICT Olympiad (Students Only)

The BCS ICT Olympiad 2026 is a student-focused knowledge competition under BCS ICT Fest 2026. It encourages ICT learning, digital literacy, logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and technology awareness among students across Bangladesh.

Only students from recognized educational institutions are eligible to participate. Professional participants are not eligible.


Competition Format

  • Question Type: MCQ
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Mode: Written / OMR / Physical exam format
  • Top 50 participants will receive certificates based on merit

Topic Areas

General ICT, digital literacy, computer fundamentals, internet, cybersecurity basics, networking basics, programming logic, database basics, AI awareness, emerging technologies and logical reasoning.

Rules and Guidelines

  1. The ICT Olympiad is open only for students.
  2. Professional participants are not eligible.
  3. Each participant must provide accurate personal and educational information during registration.
  4. Participants must bring their educational institute ID card on the competition day.
  5. Participants must bring their own pen.
  6. No electronic device will be allowed inside the exam venue.
  7. Mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, digital watches, earphones, headphones, tablets, laptops, or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
  8. Even calculators are not allowed.
  9. Participants must sit for an MCQ-based examination of 200 marks.
  10. Participants must follow the seat plan, schedule, and instructions provided by the organizing committee.
  11. Any form of unfair means, misconduct, communication with others, or violation of exam rules may result in disqualification.
  12. Participants must maintain discipline and professionalism inside the exam venue.
  13. The decision of the judges and organizing committee will be final.
  14. The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the schedule, venue, question pattern, selection process, or rules if required.
  15. The Top 50 participants will receive certificates based on merit.
