The Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) invites undergraduate university students to showcase their creativity, research and technological ideas at the Poster Presentation Competition, part of BCS ICT Fest 2026.
Develop an original poster that connects ICT with one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Explain the problem, present your proposed solution and show how your idea can create practical, meaningful impact.
Registration is free. Participate individually or as a team of two.

Competition Theme
ICT-related posters addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Your poster should explain how an ICT-based idea, application, system or solution contributes to one or more SDGs. Clearly identify the relevant goal or goals and connect your proposed solution with the problem you aim to address.
Who Can Participate?
- Participation is open exclusively to university students enrolled in bachelor’s degree programmes.
- Participants must bring a valid student ID for the final round.
Team Composition
- A team may have one or two members.
- Individual participation is allowed.
- Each student may register with only one team.
Registration Fee
BDT 0 — participation is free of charge.
How to Register
- Open the official registration form.
- Complete the required participant and team information.
- Submit your registration by 31 October 2026, 11:59 PM.
- Prepare for the online preliminary round on 2 November 2026 at 10:30 AM.
Competition Rounds
Preliminary Round — Online
The preliminary round will take place online on 2 November 2026 at 10:30 AM.
Final Round — BCFCC, Dhaka
The final round will take place during BCS ICT Fest 2026 on 6–7 November 2026 at BCFCC, Agargaon, Dhaka. Final-round participants must bring their colour-printed poster and valid student ID.

Recommended Poster Structure
For a clear and effective presentation, consider including:
- Title: A concise title describing your idea.
- Team information: Participant names and university.
- Problem statement: The issue your work addresses.
- Proposed ICT solution: Your approach and how it works.
- SDG connection: The relevant goal or goals and your contribution.
- Implementation: Your method, development approach or implementation plan.
- Expected impact: The potential benefits and practical value.
- Conclusion: The key message you want visitors and judges to remember.
This structure is a preparation guide.
Rules and Originality Requirements
- Posters must be the participants’ original work.
- Posters must not have been submitted or awarded elsewhere.
- Copying another person’s work or using third-party works will lead to disqualification.
- All posters must follow ethical guidelines and avoid sensitive content.
- Each student may participate in only one team.
- Participants must comply with the maximum team size of two members.
- Final-round participants must bring a colour-printed A1 poster and valid student ID.

Judging Panel
Posters will be evaluated by a panel of faculty members and industry experts.
